Kaitlyn Ronstadt is a freelance pianist and private teacher located in Bellingham, Washington.
Kaitlyn completed her Master's in Music in Piano Performance at Western Washington University where she studied with Jeffrey Gilliam. She also graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, studying under Judith Widrig.
Kaitlyn has a growing private piano studio and has been teaching in the Bellingham area since 2013. She currently serves on the board of the Bellingham Music Teachers Association and is the chair of the annual Music Literacy Program for the chapter. An active performer, Kaitlyn currently serves as the collaborative pianist for the Cantabile Chamber Choir. She has also played in multiple orchestras including the Seattle Philharmonic, Western Washington University Symphony Orchestra, Bayshore Symphony, Sammamish Symphony, and Marrowstone Festival Orchestra. Kaitlyn has been invited to play at various summer festivals including Gijon International Piano Festival (Spain), Zodiac Chamber Music Festival (France), Marrowstone Music Festival, and The Bard Conservatory Summer Institute. Kaitlyn has also had the privilege to perform for masterclass taught by Zoltán Fejérvári, Lise de la Salle, George Li, David Kadousch, Benjamin Hochman, Paul Roberts, and Gloria Cheng, among others.
Aside from piano, Kaitlyn enjoys experimenting in other music genres including singer/songwriter and music production. Kaitlyn is a nearly life-long Washington native and in her free time loves to explore the outdoors using the many beautiful hikes and running trails around Bellingham with her chocolate lab, Georgia.
